The Clos Sainte-Appoline, located on a limestone and stony ground, near the current chapel, known as “witches”, produces a great excellent wine, renowned for many years in Alsace. The cellars of the property are mastered, they guarantee a pleasant freshness to this wine, whose special bouquet indicates the absolute provenance of this limestone soil with Mediterranean microclimate, where fauna and flora in many respects remind the landscapes of garrigue.
